I'm a dyed in the wool hat guy with a penchant for traditional wide-brimmed fur felt fedoras, both vintage and bespoke. Then I saw the movie "Snatch" with Brad Pitt and fell in love with the leather stingy he wore. I would never have even considered owning a stingy brim before this. I went searching on line and found Jill Corbett's version - an exact duplicate! When it arrived I was blown away by the quality of the construction and materials she used. It's a great hat and gets a lot of compliments. Then I spotted the Docker Cap on Jill's IG feed. I chewed on that one for a few months and then finally pulled the trigger on the olive one. It took forever to get here because of current circumstances, but it was well worth the wait. Again super high quality and it fits like a glove. If you are a hat person, and even if you would never see yourself venturing away from traditional, and Jill's brimmed hats are anything but traditional, it will be a hat adventure you will not regret!

I have favourable comments every time I wear one, not an exaggeration, and it's always a pleasure to take it off and show people the bespoke, branded lining so people can note the milliner. I can't count the number of times the inside of my hats have been photographed. I ordered a third, a limited addition hide eight piece cap, and that too is fabulous. Jill also agreed to refurbish an old leather pork pie I'd bought from her to reline and resize it as it'd stretched over the years and the result is fantastic, a battered old leather pork pie that looks amazing and fits like it was new. I can't praise her workmanship enough. You will get a quality, bespoke product at an affordable cost. What's not to like? Buy it!

I just received three hats that I purchased a short time ago from the Hattic I must say that I was initially concerned about the fit and the look of the hats considering that I didn't get a chance to try anything on beforehand. It's always a bit of a gamble when you purchase online.

After trying the hats on, I was pleasantly surprised that the fit was perfect, in fact better than any other hat I purchased online.

I also loved the hat designs, they are unusual but they are very well made and top grade quality material. What I liked most is that you could shape the hat to form any look to suit your taste.

Overall, I found the hats to be really great looking hats and I highly recommend them to anyone. The craftsmanship cannot be faulted and I can see I will get many years of service out of them.

How to Size

Using a tape measure of plastic or cloth, measure the circumference of your head just above the top of the ears and just above the brow.

Make sure the tape lies midway on your occipital bone (the small bone in the centre back of your head).

Make it a firm measurement, not too tight or loose. Let it sit how you’d like the hat to sit.

If you are measuring up for a leather hat, I will account for the inevitable give in the leather after a few wears of the hat. This hat does need to be a snug fit at first to allow for the give.
